Svea welcomes you to become a member of the largest Swedish-American fraternal organization dedicated to the preservation of Nordic customs and traditions.

You will be a welcome visitor at any of the many local lodges within the United States, Canada, and Sweden.   You may print out or download to your phone your Membership Card.  You may attend all District and Grand Lodge Conventions.

Your active participation in The Vasa Order of America will strengthen the Order and bring you many benefits through the sharing of our culture and customs. By becoming an active member, working on a committee, or being an officer, your enjoyment will only increase.

If someone specific referred you to Svea Lodge, please list them on your application so we're able to thank them.

The membership dues are  $35.00 for the Individual Membership beginning January 1 of each year.   The application and instructions for new and renewing members are on the Membership Application drop down.

You may apply for membership if you are fourteen years of age or older and meet one of the following requirements:

1. You were born in a Nordic country.
2. You are of Nordic ancestry.
3. You are the spouse of an active Vasa member.
4. You are a non-Nordic widow or widower of a Vasa member.
5. You are not of Nordic ancestry but are committed to the promotion and advancement of Swedish and Nordic heritage and culture.
