Thanks to our website, the diligence of the Membership Committee and active Lodge members, Evelynn was initiated in January. Marian, DeeAnn, and Karin were initiated into the Order in March. We have a few more folks slated in the near future. The beauty part of our organization is that we are made up of so many varieties of ages, interests, and skills! It surely does take a village to keep our Lodge alive and well. | Välkommen! |
Ironstone Meadery was an unusual venue for an initiation but on the 16th Marian was initiated into Svea Lodge. Her dad and sister, another new member Evelynn, were in attendance. FarMor, Linda Graffius, was on hand to put Marian's membership pin on. |

Our Swedish Connection Our new website has garnered new friends - from Sweden, DL #19, Lodge #452 Goteborg, Sweden! Lars Andersson has been a wonderful ambassador for the Swedish Lodge #452. Recently, Tom Hetrick, one of our members, traveled to Sweden. Tom was able to meet up with Lars and was then introduced to others who helped him track his Swedish heritage. Make sure you look at the photos Tom took of his journey and his new found Swedish friends on the Home Page. Goteborg #452 recently celebrated their 100th anniversary.
